Chief Financial Officer
Chandan Jain joined JMATEK in 2019. Previously, he served as Supply Chain Leader, Global Operations – Asia Pacific Region for General Electric Company (GE), an NYSE-listed multinational company. Chandan joined GE in 2002 as Finance Controller of GE Capital India. During his 17 years with GE he held various roles with increasing responsibilities, such as FP&A Leader – Asia Pacific for GE Capital; CFO for GE Capital India; CFO for GE India; and General Manager – India Region in Global Operations. Prior to joining GE, Chandan worked in finance roles at a technology startup and with HCL Technologies. He started his career as an Auditor with A.F. Ferguson & Co. and also worked as a freelance business consultant early in his career. Chandan graduated from the prestigious Shriram College of Commerce (SRCC) with a Bachelor’s in Commerce. He is a Chartered Accountant in India and has secured a rank in the prestigious All India merit list. He is well experienced with US GAAP.
Senior Vice President Sales - Latin America
Ravi Melwani joined JMATEK in 1990 as a founding employee. His achievements include establishing the group’s market in Chile, Argentina, and Mexico before restructuring into distributor-focused strategy today. Ravi developed strong partner relationships with distributors in previous markets as well as new markets in Bolivia, Colombia, Ecuador, Panama, Paraguay, Uruguay, Brazil, and other areas in Central America.
Senior Vice President Sales - Asia Pacific
Anand Vyas joined JMATEK in October 2006 as a Product Manager and was appointed Vice President of Sales for Southeast Asia in September 2011. Previously, he worked in India with Symphony, Reed Elsevier, UTV, and the Indian Express Group. Anand holds a Bachelor’s in Commerce, an Executive Diploma in Marketing Management from Nirma Institute of Management, and a Diploma in Corporate Communications from Ahmedabad Management Association.
Director- Engineering, Evaporative Air Coolers, Portable Air Conditioners, Dehumidifiers
Pu Yi has 19 years of engineering and product development experience with several world-leading companies. Prior to joining JMATEK, Pu Yi was Senior Regional Project Manager for Electrolux China, managing product development covering cold (refrigerator), hot (oven), and wet (washing machine) products. He leads a cross-functional team through R&D, Marketing, Quality, Sourcing, Industrial Design, and Manufacturing in Australia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore, and China. He also led cost excellence activities on Star Products with 6-Sigma tools, contributing to their sales. He managed large supplies based in China, from product development to manufacturing. Previously, Pu Yi worked with Philips for 7 years and A.O. Smith for 8 years in various technical roles.
Pu Yi has an MBA from the University of Hong Kong, 2nd Bachelor in Automation Control Engineering from Nanjing Normal University, and a Bachelor’s in Chemical Engineering from East China University of Science & Technology in Shanghai. Pu Yi holds 4 invention patents, 3 aspect patents, has received several Best Innovation Awards, and is a published author in Science Technology journal.
Pu Yi joined JMATEK’s parent group in May 2017. He oversees development from concept to commercial delivery of new products and subsequent ongoing improvements during product life cycle.
Vice President - Global Operations
Thomas Lam joined JMATEK in 2020, bringing with him over 27 years of experience in engineering, product development, business development, manufacturing operations, and quality.
Previously, Thomas worked with Techtronic Industries (TTI) for a combined 14 years. He held various roles such as Director – Product Development; Senior Manager – Business Development; GM – OEM Manufacturing; GM – New Product Development; and most recently, Quality Director. He has also worked with Johnson Electric and Oreck Management Consulting Company. Thomas has a Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering, an M.Sc. in Industrial Engineering & Management, and an MBA, all from the University of Hong Kong.
